An open letter to Mariah Carey

Dear Mariah Carey

I recently subjected myself to the displeasure that is Justin Biebers cover of your all time Xmas classic "All I want for xmas is you". After listening to the track which is easily the most pointless cover of the song have yet to hear, I decided to see if the music video could possibly save the dreaded mess of a cover.

There I saw it, horror of horrors, you standing against a wall in the shortest red number ever doing what can only be described as selling your private parts like a common New York hooker! WTF? Seriously! Need I remind you that you are Mariah freaking Carey, the best selling female artist of all time, owner of the greatest vocals ever bestowed on a human being and mother of two!!!

So for crying in a bucket will you start acting like the legend that you are! At the age of 42 you have accomplished more in your career than most of today's pop artists could even dream of but if you are going to persist on cheapening yourself like a pop tart then people will simply perceive you that way.

Sincerely

An irritated fan

P.S You should not even be considering doing collaborations with the like of Justin Biebers.

What do you think of this year's nominations? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Firstly let me begin by saying that it is a well known fact that Stonewinner Entertainment considers the grammy awards to be a farce devoid of any credibility, secondly that does not mean that I wont comment on the absolute joke that is its annual nominees list:

1. Rihanna-Loud-Album of the year-really? seriously?

2. Why is Lady Gaga not featured in nearly every category? I may not be her biggest fan, heck I do not even keep any of her music but "Born This Way" set trends and made impacts that, at least I feel, deserve serious praise!

3. Best Dance recording and no sign of a nomination for "Party Rock Anthem"? It is without a doubt the biggest dance track for 2011, months after release it is still relevant. (I debated this particular one with a friend and apparently LMFAO are considered Hip-Hop?- have the genre line really become that blurred? and if even if that were the case then why are they not nominated in nay of the Hip-Hop categories-I give up)

4. Best RnB Album category has a Kelly mention, it is Price lol, all im saying is that next year this category better have a Kelly too, Rowland! Here I Am is a stonewinner, 4 can kiss my !@#$!@$!

5.Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, did you see it?? huh? did you? "Ima be your motivation" *breaks into song and some very not Kelly like dance moves*
